BASE is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to sponsor continuing education for psychologists. BASE maintains responsibility for its programs and their content. We deliver cutting edge skills and experts who are passionate about their areas of specialty. We host programs at BASE, sponsor programs in the community, and are developing home-based educational options.

Business of Private Practice
One key factor to success as a therapist is the one thing that most graduate programs do not teach- effectively running a business! Dr. Daley had experience in health care management prior to opening BASE, while Dr. Umbach grew up in a family business. They both took a deep dive into business management in mental health care when they developed their business plan for BASE. They offer consultation sessions to allow for mental health clinicians to share ideas, experiences, and resources in a collaborative environment.
